Dear Heart Tattoo is committed to creating the safest tattoo experience for you as possible; due to the “up close and personal” nature of tattooing masks are required* in the studio despite the mandate lifting in Oregon.
Beginning August 8, 2021 clients will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (as defined by the CDC) *or* a negative coronavirus molecular test (NOT an antigen test). The test must be taken within 72 hours of the tattoo appointment and administered by a healthcare professional. Failure to produce your vaccine card or test results from a pharmacy or medical clinic will result in loss of deposit and appointment.
If you work in a high risk setting or you’ve traveled in the ten days leading up to your appointment you may be asked to reschedule or provide a negative antigen test the morning of your appointment. This applies regardless of vaccination status or previous infection.
Please CALL when you arrive (texts often don’t work in the building); there is no waiting area in which to social distance if another client is in the shop. Please arrive solo to your appointment- we are unable to accommodate “support” guests at this time. Park at/ navigate to 17th and Quimby, GPS will put you blocks away from the entrance if you use the address.
THANK YOU for your patience while we learn to navigate tattooing during a pandemic. THANK YOU for your continued support and for sending your loved ones this way to get tattooed. This "new normal" would be SO much harder without you- words can not express the amount of gratitude we feel.
* We require kn95, kf94 or n95 masks for every person in the studio (and will until further notice). If you forget yours we are happy to provide one.
